For the past 25 years, Sue has been performing Project Management and Construction Management services for public projects with the cities of Sacramento & Stockton. Early in her career, Sue gained experience in retail design, landscape architecture, community development projects, interiors, medical, religious, and residential design.
Recent Sacramento management projects include the $84M Crocker Art Museum Expansion and Renovation, the $5M Sacramento Docks Promenade, the $4M K Street Streetscape, the $22M Stockton Marina and John Darrah Promenade. Additional past Sacramento management projects include Joe's Crab Shack, Crest Theater Renovation, Waterfront Promenade Phase 1, Cesar Chavez Plaza, Central City Wayfinding Project, and 13 Art and Public Places installations.
Recently, Sue has provided stakeholder meeting documentation for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for the $800M California Health Care Facility and the Infill Program.
Joint Projects:
While consulting for the City of Sacramento Department of Parks and Recreation, Sue and Bill managed the design and construction of over 30 public parks.
Commercial designs include the Public Market in Old Sacramento, the Elk Grove Old Town Development, Elk Grove, CA, the Sacramento Reclamation District Parkway designs and studies, churches, banks and tenant improvements.
Residential projects include the renovation of the Los Angeles Orphanage, along with a multitude of single family residences.
One of the most meaningful events in the team's experience is when they were asked to develop the tenant improvements for the traveling 9-11 photo disaster exhibit in downtown Sacramento.
Prior to joining Sue in the practice, Bill's experience included designing and managing large commercial and civic projects, such as corporate headquarters, office buildings, museums and detention facilities. Notable projects include Avery International Headquarters, Los Angeles Museum, Ahmanson Gallery addition and Hammer Gallery expansion, Toyota USA Headquarters, and Project Principal for various California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation prison projects, as well as Orange County Sheriff's Department and Placer County jail projects.
Bill's mentors were the late
William Periera and Cesar Pelli.
